DermaCrisp Skin Burnt FX is an imitation burnt skin material that is a fast and easy way to dress out your injury simulation that calls for charred or burnt skin.  This product can be instantly adhered to skin or patient simulator manikins with simple adhesives, such as spirit gum, or inserted into gelatin, or silicone burn renderings. By adding some Ben Nye Fresh Scab underneath, it gives an even more dramatic and realistic looking injury.

To use: peel the backing from a section of DermaCrisp Skin Burnt FX, and tear or cut it to desired shape. If desired, dampen product so it wrinkles up, let dry, or use it damp.  If applying directly to skin, cleanse area with alcohol first, then apply a small amount of adhesive, bead of melted gelatin, or a thin layer of latex.  Press the DermaCrisp Skin Burnt FX piece immediately and allow adhesion to set up. This product can also be used with TraumaSkin FX Vinyl-SFX Liquid Medium with great results - check out the video below!

DermaCrisp Skin Burnt FX can also be used in gelatin or silicone freehand sculpting pieces to add more charred or melted skin look by inserting prepared pieces during the sculpting process. You can also give Skin Burnt FX™ a more wrinkled effect by spraying it with water and allowing it to “crinkle” up while it dries.

To restore shine texture to Skin Burnt FX after powdering if so desired, dab piece with a cotton swab dipped in water.  Makeup can be applied on it by hand or an airbrush if desired.
