TraumaSim's Gunshot Entry/Exit Wound Forearm with Bleeding Capacity has been designed and created from durable, life-like silicone into a medically accurate representation of this trauma wound with bleeding capacity. The quality and durability of these realistic rapid application solutions is of the highest standard, TraumaWear is available as a pull-on or strap-on application depending on the location of the intended simulated wound.
To further enhance the realistic effect of TraumaSim’s TraumaWear range use Moulage materials including Fresh Scab, artificial bloods and make up to enrich the look and give the wearable wounds a fresh appearance, discretely hide the bleeding tube and ensure the role player can reach the filled 20ml syringe to activate the bleeding effect. Position clothing that has been cut, burned and manipulated to reflect the mechanism of injury. This will complete the look on both manikins and role players.
By positioning the patient/casualty in an environment and position that again is consistent with the TraumaWear injury, will allow your trainees to experience the full effect of realistic training, increasing training realism and knowledge retention.
TraumaSim’s TraumaWear range are washable and for repeat use rapid application and training.
Offered individually and in kits, TraumaWear is available as a pull-on or strap-on application. For all pull on TraumaWear, it is recommended a light dusting of Talc Powder inside the unit is used to assist sliding it into place. The strapping system is adjustable to fit a range of sizes on both role players and manikins.
