A Role Player (or Standardised Patient) is a person carefully recruited and trained to take on the characteristics of a real patient to provide students with the opportunity to learn and to be evaluated on their practical skills in a simulated environment. Our Role Players are experienced in mass casualty exercises and are integral to creating a realistic simulation or scenario.
