Liven up you’re training and really prepare your students for the real world! These wearable, robust wounds & injuries provide cost effective, rapid and repeatable application. Available in 11 colours or customised. Check out our HOW TO video below!
Current Stock:

TraumaSim's Skin Tear with Mobile Skin has been designed and created from durable, life-like silicone into a medically accurate representation of a trauma/clinical wound. The quality and durability of this realistic Silicone Wound is of the highest standard, with the tapered edges assisting with application and blending on your manikin or live role player.

To further enhance the realistic effect of TraumaSim’s Silicone Wounds, use Moulage materials including Fresh Scab, artificial bloods and make up to enrich the look and give the wounds a fresh appearance. Position clothing that has been cut, burned and manipulated to reflect the mechanism of injury. This will complete the look on both manikins and role players.

By positioning the patient/casualty in an environment and position that again is consistent with the Silicone Wound injury, will allow your trainees to experience the full effect of realistic training, increasing training realism and knowledge retention.

All of TraumaSim’s Silicone wound range are washable and for repeat use application and training.

Available individually and in kits, these wounds should be applied using Spirit Gum, Prosthetic Adhesive and/or other related products.

Includes:
• Realistic Silicone Wound
• User guide

All of TraumaSim’s wounds are hand painted and some variation in painting style should be expected.

Various skin colours available, frequently purchased tones are held in stock, all other tones are manufactured to order. 01 Light shown in the above images.

Skin Tear with mobile skin flap

This is proving to be a wonderful teaching aid for our new Registered Nurses to 'practice' their technique in cleaning, realigning and dressing a common injury which occurs in RAC. They gain they confidence without fearing they will induce discomfort/pain on a injured resident. Excellent teaching aid and would recommend it highly
