The Ulcer – Large Silicone Wound by TraumaSim is a high-fidelity, self-adhesive training aid designed to replicate a medically accurate large ulcer wound for clinical, nursing, wound care, aged care, and patient assessment training.

Manufactured from durable, life-like silicone, this wound supports realistic ulcer assessment, wound identification, dressing practice, documentation, patient communication, and scenario-based education. The larger wound presentation allows learners to assess more advanced wound features, plan appropriate care, and practise clinical decision-making in a safe and repeatable environment. Tapered edges assist with seamless blending onto a manikin or live role player, maintaining anatomical realism throughout simulation exercises.

This silicone wound is ideal for scenarios involving chronic wound assessment, lower limb wound care, aged care simulation, nursing education, clinical documentation, infection recognition, and multidisciplinary care planning.
