Description
The TraumaSkin FX Silicone Modelling Gel by TraumaSim is a versatile, two-part platinum silicone system designed for creating instant, life-like wounds, scars, trauma effects, and 3D skin appliances. Thicker than Skin Tite®, this firm gel-like silicone provides a modelling medium that can be sculpted freehand, applied directly to skin, or used in a mould for realistic moulage and special effects.
Designed to remove the mess of liquid silicone pours, TraumaSkin FX has a soft, butter-like texture when mixed, allowing greater control during application. Once cured, it becomes self-adhering when applied directly to skin, with no additional adhesive required, and remains durable during wear until removed by hand.
Thick Silicone Modelling Gel for Moulage & 3D Wound Effects
TraumaSkin FX Silicone Modelling Gel is ideal for simulation technicians, moulage artists, educators, emergency services, and tactical training teams wanting to create highly realistic 3D wounds and skin effects. It can be used to form cuts, scars, burns, avulsions, tissue damage, skin pockets, and other trauma effects for clinical, emergency, and casualty simulation.
This simple two-part system is mixed in equal amounts by weight or volume. Once thoroughly mixed for a full minute, the gel can be shaped by hand or sculpted onto a surface or directly onto skin. Gentle heat from a hairdryer can be used to speed up set time.
Cured pieces may also be saved and reused across future training scenarios where appropriate.
