Description

The TraumaSkin FX DermaBurn is a transparent skin effect material designed to create fast, realistic burn injuries, skin peeling, sloughing, and surface trauma effects. Easy to apply with a spray of water or compatible liquid medium, this material shrinks, moulds, and adheres to the skin in one step, allowing users to shape realistic 3D injury effects directly onto role players or patient simulator manikins.

Once moistened, DermaBurn becomes highly workable and conforms to the surface beneath it. As it dries, it holds the shape created by the user, making it ideal for third-degree burns, second-degree burns, peeling skin, skin sloughing, and other disfigurement or injury effects.

Transparent Burn Effect Material for Moulage & Simulation

DermaBurn is completely transparent, allowing it to take on the colour of the skin underneath once dampened. This makes it highly versatile for use across a range of skin tones and simulation scenarios.

Simply cut the desired length from the sheet, arrange it three-dimensionally on the skin or manikin surface, and spritz lightly with water. As the material begins to shrink or soften, it can be shaped and moulded into the desired injury effect before drying in place.

For added realism, finish the effect with moulage materials such as dirt, charcoal, or ash powders, Stage Blood, or Fresh Scab.
