This professional training pack combines the Emergency Tourniquet Trainer (ETT) — the world’s first tourniquet training unit — with the Haemostatic Clotting Trainer (HCT), creating a versatile training system for realistic bleeding control scenarios.

By combining these two training aids with the included training accessories, instructors have everything required to deliver effective haemorrhage control and Stop The Bleed style training in a controlled, repeatable environment.

Practical Haemorrhage Control Training

Uncontrolled arterial bleeding can lead to death within minutes if not managed rapidly and effectively. Applying a tourniquet correctly and performing effective wound packing are critical life-saving skills that must be taught properly and practised repeatedly to build confidence and muscle memory.

The Trainer’s Pack for Bleeding Control 1 allows instructors to deliver hands-on training that replicates real-world trauma scenarios, helping learners practise recognising and managing life-threatening bleeding.

Multiple Training Scenarios

The Emergency Tourniquet Trainer is available in either an arm or leg amputation configuration and simulates severe arterial bleeding requiring rapid tourniquet application.

The Haemostatic Clotting Trainer is available with a choice of wound types including a gunshot wound, laceration, or large packing wound. Each wound cavity allows trainees to practise wound packing techniques using gauze and haemostatic dressings.

Both training aids have bleeding capability and provide immediate feedback — when the correct tourniquet technique or wound packing method is applied, the bleeding will occlude.

These simulators can be used as wet or dry training aids. For maximum realism, TraumaSim recommends operating the bleeding systems during training exercises. This allows instructors to elevate scenario intensity, test decision-making under pressure, and build trainee confidence in managing life-threatening haemorrhage.
