The Large Haematoma Silicone Wound by TraumaSim is a high-fidelity, self-adhesive training aid designed to replicate a medically accurate blunt force contusion. Manufactured from durable, life-like silicone, this wound supports realistic trauma, emergency, and clinical simulation scenarios.

The layered colour depth and realistic bruising pattern simulate soft tissue trauma commonly seen following impact injuries, falls, sporting incidents, and assault-related trauma. Tapered edges allow the wound to blend seamlessly onto a manikin or live role player, creating convincing visual realism during training.

Large Haematoma for Trauma & Clinical Simulation Training

This silicone wound is ideal for first aid training, emergency response scenarios, nursing education, and prehospital simulation. The larger surface area enhances visibility during assessment training, allowing learners to practise identifying swelling, bruising progression, and injury mechanism.

To further enhance realism, the wound can be complemented with moulage materials such as Fresh Scab, Stage Blood, and professional makeup products. Clothing can be manipulated to reflect mechanism of injury and improve scenario immersion.

All TraumaSim silicone wounds are self-adhesive, washable, and reusable, supporting repeated use in high-volume training environments. Available individually or as part of selected wound kits.
