The Laceration Suturable Silicone Wound by TraumaSim is a high-fidelity, self-adhesive training aid designed to replicate a medically accurate laceration for trauma, clinical, emergency response, and procedural skills training.

Manufactured from durable, life-like silicone, this wound supports realistic wound assessment, dressing practice, patient management, and suturing education. The suturable design allows learners to practise wound closure techniques in a safe and repeatable training environment, while the tapered edges assist with seamless blending onto a manikin or live role player to maintain anatomical realism throughout simulation exercises.

Suturable Laceration Simulation for Trauma and Clinical Training

This silicone wound is ideal for scenarios involving sharp trauma, workplace incidents, emergency response, clinical skills training, wound closure practice, and patient assessment. Learners can practise wound identification, preparation, dressing application, suturing technique, patient communication, and post-procedure care in a controlled simulation environment.

To further enhance realism, the wound can be complemented with moulage materials such as Fresh Scab, Stage Blood, and professional makeup products. Clothing may be cut, torn, burned, or manipulated to reflect the mechanism of injury and increase immersion.

All TraumaSim silicone wounds are self-adhesive, washable, and reusable, supporting repeated use in high-volume training environments. Available individually or as part of selected trauma, clinical, and procedural skills kits.
