Manufactured from durable, life-like silicone, this wound supports realistic wound assessment, dressing practice, bleeding recognition, patient management, and scenario-based education. The larger open fat layer presentation allows learners to assess wound depth, soft tissue involvement, and injury severity in a safe and repeatable training environment. Tapered edges assist with seamless blending onto a manikin or live role player, maintaining anatomical realism throughout simulation exercises.

Large Open Fat Layer Laceration Simulation for Trauma Training

This silicone wound is ideal for scenarios involving sharp trauma, workplace incidents, machinery injury, crush injury, vehicle accidents, falls, assault-related trauma, emergency response, and clinical wound assessment. Learners can practise wound identification, injury assessment, dressing application, bleeding recognition, escalation, and coordinated patient management in a controlled training environment.
