Manufactured from durable, life-like silicone, this wound supports realistic wound assessment, dressing practice, bleeding recognition, patient management, and scenario-based education. The jagged wound profile allows learners to assess irregular soft tissue trauma, wound edges, depth, and dressing requirements in a safe and repeatable training environment. Tapered edges assist with seamless blending onto a manikin or live role player, maintaining anatomical realism throughout simulation exercises.

Jagged Laceration Simulation for Trauma and Clinical Training

This silicone wound is ideal for scenarios involving sharp trauma, workplace incidents, machinery injury, falls, vehicle accidents, assault-related trauma, emergency response, and clinical wound assessment. Learners can practise wound identification, injury assessment, dressing application, bleeding recognition, escalation, and coordinated patient management in a controlled training environment.

To further enhance realism, the wound can be complemented with moulage materials such as Fresh Scab, Stage Blood, and professional makeup products. Clothing may be cut, torn, burned, or manipulated to reflect the mechanism of injury and increase immersion.
