The Gunshot Wound 7.62mm Entry Silicone Wound with Bleeding Capacity by TraumaSim is a high-fidelity, self-adhesive training aid designed to replicate a medically accurate penetrating ballistic entry wound with active bleeding simulation.
Manufactured from durable, life-like silicone, this wound supports realistic trauma, military, tactical, and emergency response training. The detailed entry presentation and controlled bleeding function allow instructors to create immersive haemorrhage control scenarios in a safe and repeatable environment.
Tapered edges enable seamless blending onto a manikin or live role player, maintaining anatomical realism during assessment and intervention training.
Gunshot Wound Simulation for Haemorrhage Control Training
This silicone wound is designed for use in prehospital care, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), emergency services, and trauma education programs. Learners can practise wound assessment, bleeding management, pressure application, and decision-making under simulated operational conditions.
The integrated bleeding tube connects to a 20ml syringe, allowing controlled activation of blood flow during training. Tubing can be discreetly positioned beneath clothing, and the role player can activate bleeding as directed to simulate realistic casualty response.
To further enhance realism, the wound can be complemented with moulage materials such as Fresh Scab, Stage Blood, and professional makeup products. Clothing may be cut or manipulated to reflect mechanism of injury and increase scenario immersion.
All TraumaSim silicone wounds are self-adhesive, washable, and reusable, supporting repeated use in high-volume training environments. Available individually or as part of selected trauma kits.
