The Emergency Tourniquet Trainer – Set of 4 is TraumaSim’s high-capacity haemorrhage control training system, designed for large group instruction, defence training environments, emergency services academies, and high-volume first aid programs.

As part of the world’s first dedicated Emergency Tourniquet Trainer (ETT) range, this four-unit configuration allows multiple learners to train simultaneously while maintaining reactive arterial bleeding simulation and realistic occlusion feedback.

High-Volume Tourniquet Training with Realistic Arterial Bleeding

Each Emergency Tourniquet Trainer replicates severe arterial haemorrhage that will only occlude when correct tourniquet placement, tension, and technique are applied. If bleeding continues, learners must reassess and adjust — reinforcing real-world performance under pressure.

Developed in consultation with Australian Defence Force medics, the ETT range was benchmarked to replicate the resistance and pressure required to stop an actual arterial bleed. The realistic haemorrhaging response ensures trainees understand the strength and accuracy required to save a life.

The 5-litre manual pressure pump system allows instructors to simulate arterial flow under controlled pressure. By pulsing the system appropriately, realistic bleeding scenarios can be repeated across multiple trainees during a single training session.
