Description

The DermaCrisp Skin Burnt FX is an imitation burnt skin material designed to quickly create realistic charred, burnt, melted, or damaged skin effects for moulage and casualty simulation. Fast and easy to apply, it is ideal for injury simulations requiring burn realism across manikins, live role players, or patient simulators.

DermaCrisp Skin Burnt FX can be adhered directly to skin or simulator surfaces using simple adhesives such as spirit gum, or incorporated into gelatin and silicone burn effects. When paired with products such as Fresh Scab, it creates a more dramatic and realistic burn injury presentation.

Burnt Skin Effect Material for Moulage & Simulation

DermaCrisp Skin Burnt FX is suitable for emergency response training, first aid education, tactical simulation, clinical simulation, and casualty scenario development. It can be torn or cut to shape, applied as a standalone effect, or embedded into sculpted moulage pieces for added texture and depth.

To create a more wrinkled or crinkled burnt skin effect, the material can be lightly dampened or sprayed with water and allowed to dry. Makeup can be applied by hand or airbrush if further colour adjustment is required.

Application Guide

• Peel backing from the DermaCrisp Skin Burnt FX material
• Tear or cut to the desired shape
• If desired, dampen the product to create wrinkling or crinkling texture
• Cleanse skin with alcohol before direct skin application
• Apply a small amount of adhesive, melted gelatin, or compatible medium
• Press the DermaCrisp Skin Burnt FX into place and allow adhesion to set
