The Dehiscence Large Silicone Wound by TraumaSim is a high-fidelity, self-adhesive training aid designed to replicate a medically accurate large wound dehiscence presentation for clinical, surgical, nursing, wound care, trauma, and patient assessment training.

Manufactured from durable, life-like silicone, this wound supports realistic post-operative wound assessment, dressing practice, infection recognition, documentation, patient communication, and scenario-based education. The large dehiscence presentation allows learners to assess a more complex surgical wound complication in a safe and repeatable training environment. Tapered edges assist with seamless blending onto a manikin or live role player, maintaining anatomical realism throughout simulation exercises.
