The Combat TraumaWear – Neck Wearable is a high-fidelity wearable trauma simulation unit designed to replicate severe blast-related neck injuries encountered in modern combat environments. This TraumaWear unit represents injuries sustained when the neck region remains exposed due to the limitations of body armour systems, where helmets and chest plates do not provide full anatomical coverage.

Developed using operational feedback from contemporary conflict zones, including injury patterns reported during the Ukraine conflict, this wearable reflects the complex and high-risk nature of blast and fragmentation trauma to the neck. These injuries present significant challenges for haemorrhage control, airway management, and casualty prioritisation in tactical medical care.

The wearable features two packable wound pockets and integrated bleeding capability, allowing trainees to practise realistic haemorrhage control techniques under pressure. The design supports rapid strap-on application to role players, enabling immersive scenario-based training without extended setup time.

Manufactured from durable, life-like silicone, the Combat TraumaWear – Neck Wearable delivers realistic tissue appearance and tactile feedback.
