CAT Tourniquet (G7) – Training Version
The CAT Tourniquet (G7) is a lightweight, compact arterial tourniquet designed to replicate the function and application of a real Combat Application Tourniquet®. This blue version is intended for training use only and is ideal for replacing tourniquets included in bleeding control kits and simulation setups.
Designed for realism and ease of use, the CAT Tourniquet features a self-adhering band and friction adaptor buckle, allowing it to fit a wide range of limb sizes. The one-handed windlass system enables rapid application, making it suitable for training in emergency response, first aid, and trauma scenarios.
Tourniquet for Training and Simulation Use
This training tourniquet allows learners to practise correct application techniques for controlling life-threatening extremity bleeding. The durable windlass system provides circumferential pressure, enabling realistic simulation of haemorrhage control procedures.
Once tightened, the windlass is secured using the windlass clip and reinforced with a hook-and-loop retention strap, ensuring stability during simulated patient movement and transport.
