The Haemostatic Clotting Trainer – Basic Square Gunshot Wound is part of TraumaSim’s haemorrhage control training range. Designed to replicate realistic penetrating trauma, this trainer supports the development of essential wound packing and haemostatic dressing application skills in a simplified, cost-effective format.

These critical skills can be practised in a controlled training environment, allowing learners to build confidence and competence under appropriate instruction. The gunshot wound model provides a deep cavity suitable for realistic wound packing techniques used in first aid, pre-hospital, military, and emergency response training.

Haemostatic Clotting Trainer for Gunshot Wound Simulation

This unit follows the same training principles as the rounded Haemostatic Clotting Trainer range, offering realistic bleeding simulation in a compact square design. Available as both Gunshot Wound and Laceration variations, this trainer is ideal for high-volume or entry-level training environments.

Bleeding is controlled via a 50ml syringe, allowing the instructor to simulate blood flow during training. By varying pressure on the syringe, users can create different bleeding intensities to support skill development.

TraumaSim recommends using Ben Nye Stage Blood diluted at a ratio of 1 part blood to 3 parts water for optimal performance.

Durable and easy to maintain, the trainer can be washed, dried, and stored for repeated use in training environments.
